      The Martial Arts Lineage from « Notable LÀI » (Hương-Kiểm LÀI) was established by the « Council Guard » Grand-Master LÂM Đình Thọ, successor of Martial Arts Lineage from his own father, the Grand-Master LÂM Hữu Phong.

       In fact, the Grand-Master LÂM Hữu Phong originated from China, however he was able to receive th teaching of Battlefields Martial Arts from Bình-Định Tây-Sơn School System. The Clan of LÂM's families was at this time the one of Chinese families Clans the most wealthy at Bình-Định. Claiming the goal for being able to efficiently tackle the exactions from powerful pirate Dư-Đành's gang, the Grand-Master LÂM Hữu Phong was going to find renamed vietnamiese Grand-Masters from School System of Bình-Định Tây-Sơn Battlefields Martial Arts in this times in view to ask them to teach at home.

      Later, thle Grand-Master LÂM Ngọc Phú was able to assimilate the Martial Arts of School System of An-Thái region from the Grand-Master Diệp-Trường-Phát in the same tiime of the Old Master LÊ Trọng Đào, a descendant from General LÊ-Văn-Khôi, son-in-law of Left Wing Generalissimo LÊ-Văn-Duyệt. The Old Master LÊ Trọng Đào was a high level Martial-Student in the School System of Grand-Master Diệp-Trường-Phát at An-Thái and brother of Lady LÊ-Thị-Nhàn, spouse of our Grand-Master LÂM Ngọc Phú.

      When he has achieved in Martial Arts studies of Bình-Định Tây-Sơn School System from his parents - i.e. the Martial Arts Lineage fom « Notable LÀI » - and in Martial Arts studies of School System from Grand-Master Diệp-Trường-Phát at An-Thái, our Grand-Master LÂM Ngọc Phú opened the Drill Halls Bình-Sơn - abbreviated appellation of Bình-Định Tây-Sơn - at An-Nhơn Hamlet.

      At present, the direction of the Drill Halls Bình-Sơn is managed by the elder son of our Grand-Master LÂM-Ngọc-Phú, the Master LÂM Ngọc Ánh.

      Our  Võ-Trận Đại-Việt Academy preserves and passes down exclusively Codified Sequences of Bare Hand Fighting and these of Medievale Weapons in Bình-Định Tây-Sơn Traditional Martial Arts that the Grand-Master LÂM Ngọc Phú had inheritedfrom his father, the Grand-Master LÂM Đình Thọ - Notable LÀI.
